Fun Food for the Porch: Episode 1 – The Sharing of a Century Egg

This episode features the century egg. The century egg is an egg that has been coated in ash, lime and salt and buried for 100 days. This process petrifies the egg, giving the white an amber color, similar to a beer bottle and the yolk a dark green color, similar to mud.

Work: Food/Travel
I like to eat and I like to travel, from time to time I’ll make a video about it.

Fun Food for the Porch is an ongoing series where weird food is shared and discussed on my friend Katie’s porch. These were shot using the video function on point and shoot digital cameras. Using these cameras helped maintain the casual feeling of hanging out and being spontaneous.
